Power skating/goalie clinic a great success!

Our pre-season power skating and goalie clinic was a great success. Participants came from all associations and learned much under the guidance of Jaro Sevcik, Dal Hockey Team skating coach and Christina MacDonald, Bedford Ringette. Thanks to Jason Duthie and Jeff Stewart for organizing this event.

Our Discover ringette afternoon at the Forum saw 15 participants come out to try our great sport. 8 decided to register to play for the 06 07 season! We're thrilled with this outcome. Many thanks to the HCRA Exec. who worked hard to bring about this event.

NS Minister of Health Promotion and Protection, Barry Barnett came out to salute the participants and drew the winning ticket for our lotto tree promotion. Susan Nicholson, our Registrar, won the $250.00 lotto tree!

Thanks to senior players, Kerith, Danielle, Julia, Genevieve, Allison and Jody as well as our coaches for coming out to help showcase ringette to our visitors.
